The EFC Southwest Elder Board partners with our family of churches to help give birth to new churches. Our purpose is to enable local churches to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through facilitating the planting and shepherding of prayerful and reproducing EFC Southwest churches among the various cultures represented in the Southwestern United States.
Relationships play a vital role in any healthy birth. The Elder Board and Local Initiatives staff are equipped to provide the support, nurture and environment for the birth, growth and health of new church plants.
All church plants are required to be connected to a parent church. Partnering together, the parent church, church planter and EFC Southwest Staff/Elder Board guide the church plant through a process to assess, train and launch each church plant. Additionally, matching funds are available to the parent church to ensure the plant gets off to a solid start. Vital to this process is a commitment to prayer and leadership training.
These relationships and resources allow for opportunities for vital life-giving and life-changing disciple-making communities. If you would like more information about church planting with EFC Southwest, please contact our office.
